1. Clean and Dry the Area

Before applying any cream, ensure the diaper area is thoroughly clean. Use gentle wipes or a soft cloth with warm water. Pat the skin dry gently with a clean towel or let it air dry for a few moments. Applying cream to damp skin can trap moisture against the body, which may worsen irritation.

2. Apply a Generous Layer

Use clean fingers to apply a thick, even layer of the cream over the entire diaper area, especially in skin folds and anywhere you see redness. Think of it like frosting a cake—you want a visible barrier so that soiled diapers touch the cream rather than the baby's skin.

3. Secure the Diaper

Put on a fresh diaper, ensuring it is snug but not too tight. Air circulation is helpful for healing, so avoid over-tightening. If you are using a cream with zinc oxide, don't worry if you still see some white residue at the next change; this means the protective barrier is doing its job.

• Wash your hands both before and after application to prevent the spread of bacteria.

General Usage Warnings

• External Use Only: This product is for topical use on the skin only. Do not apply it near the eyes, nose, mouth, or inside the vagina.

• Seek Medical Advice if Symptoms Persist: If a diaper rash does not improve or worsens after 7 days of treatment, consult your pediatrician.

• Avoid Broken Skin: Do not apply to large sores, broken skin, or severe skin injuries without first consulting a doctor. Zinc oxide is intended for protection and minor irritation, not for treating deep wounds or active bacterial/fungal infections.  

• Keep Out of Reach: Store the cream away from children. If accidental ingestion occurs, contact a Poison Control Center immediately; while a small amount may only cause minor stomach upset, larger amounts can be more serious.  

Allergies & Sensitivities

• Patch Test First: Since baby skin is incredibly delicate, we recommend performing a patch test on a small area of the arm or leg. Wait 24 hours to ensure no redness or irritation occurs before applying it to the diaper area.  

• Botanical Allergies: Babies with sensitivities to the Asteraceae/Compositae family (including ragweed, daisies, marigolds, or chrysanthemums) may react to ingredients like Yarrow or Calendula.

• Beeswax & Propolis: If your child has a known allergy to bees or bee products, they may have a sensitivity to the organic beeswax used in this formula.

Storage & Product Integrity

• Temperature Sensitivity: Because this is a natural tallow-based product, it may soften or melt in high heat. Store it in a cool, dry place (below 25°C). If it does melt, the ingredients may settle; simply stir and let it cool to restore its even consistency.
